From Legal Wiki

The Wiki Law Project (Philippines) is a pilot project to test the possibility of a collaborative database on Philippine laws and legal system. There are a number of helpful legal resources online, a fact which makes the work on this project less difficult. The challenge is to sift through these legal information and create a reader-friendly database.

The Wiki Law Project (Philippines) is a component of phbar.org (Bar Exams Forum - Philippines). Only members of the phbar.org community could create/edit entries in the Wiki Law Project. This is intended to maintain a certain level of project integrity, while at the same time creating author/editor responsibility. This is not foolproof, of course, but this is the better alternative to make the project a collaborative effort.

The sources (in the footnote or in parenthesis) of the definition and discussions are included for easy reference. A definition based on jurisprudence may not completely follow the arrangement of words or sentences as appearing in the actual decision of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, but great effort is made to be faithful to the language and meaning of the decision. Refer to the source to check the citations, which are omitted here for brevity. Always refer to the source to check the accuracy of the entry and to determine its context.
